Bus Stop Signs

While browsing the site's referral logs, I came across this post over at Balitmore Skyline of the new kiosks being used for the Charm City Circulator, Baltimore's free shuttle system. The signs are about 10 feet tall and include the route map and schedule, as well as an LED sign indicating the next departure. The LED signs are a touch that I'm sure most people would like to see added to the bus shelters in Center City.

Of course, now that SEPTA buses are on Google Maps, the need for this is a bit reduced. If you have a smartphone, you can find out what time the last bus home is before you even leave the bar; perhaps ensuring you have enough time to down that last beer before the PLCB comes in and takes it out of your hand.

The real question on everyone's mind, however, is when we're going to see BusView appear to complement TrainView. And after that, when will we see the two of them mashed together into a Google Maps view of live transit location data goodness?
