Still Alive

The strike is over. We all survived. You may have a little more leg muscle and a little less belly fat. Some of you might even get a few bucks back on your TransPass. We now return to your regularly-scheduled SEPTA Watching.

any info on metrocards comin to phila?

SEPTA finally closed bids last month. It will be several years before we see a new fare system. What we're getting will be closer-related to the PATCO Freedom Card or the PATH QuickCard than the MTA MetroCard.

The strike is over. Great...just when you thought it was safe to cross a street on a green light, the red light runners (er, SEPTA bus drivers) are back!
