Nice...
But come on.. It won't happen. Just like the ACC Tower Failure on 18th and arch. And the Disney Hole now still a parking lot. I am a citizen that wants this cool park.. but philly never moves on anything, if they wanted it they be outside right now working on it.. it's been a thought since 2008.. it's 2012.. it won't happen. Sorry to be a downer... I live right near the viaduct, I want it...

I read the articles regarding the bad weekend for SEPTA bus drivers and I truly feel sorry about what happened to them. However, this morning the person driving bus #5648 was driving down Chestnut Street like a bat out of hell. Granted, there were no passengers on the bus, but the driver was moving at a rather high rate of speed and was weaving in and out of traffic as if he was driving a small vehicle or a race car or something. Should a bus be in the far left lane if it is not turning left? The lane switching was frightening to watch. I must say that the driver did not hit or hurt anyone, but I was appalled at the rate of speed that bus was travelling and how the driver was shifting lanes so recklessly.. Overall, I think our drivers are some of the best in the US, but this driver was just too careless for this passenger. By the way, I was NOT on a bus while I was watching #5648.

Thanks for this!

Some years ago, WHYY (TV-12) ran a series called Secrets beneath the streets- the proposed trolley station under the BenFranklin was one of the topics.

Here's the YouTube Clip

Well, you're not an artist, so naturally i wouldn't expect anything positive. It would kill you to say something nice.

I think it's fabulous. It's great to see that SEPTA knows an artist when they see one.

Bear in mind, none of them have a Electric railroad, high speed line, trolleys, or trackless as we do. So their job is easier.

And NYC's number is a lie. It's way higher. But i'm not surprised. MTA is always making things up.

Terrible idea. It will just slow down the RR.

This concept of bringing back old stops, whoever thought of it, is a pure idiot. They were eliminated because of low traffic. More stops mean a longer ride, which is not appealing at all for those with a car looking to use SEPTA to perhaps get downtown. More stops mean a longer ride. You want SEPTA to be the best alternative. it already is, but with more unnecessary stops, it will not be a good alternative at all.

So, suddenly you're the dictator? It's not your position to question the Authority's moves. Just move on, dude. Pissing and moaning is too easy because everyone in the world does it. Be part of the solution, rather than part of the problem
